Transforming Long-Term Care through Evidence-Informed Innovation

In 2023, IMPACT led a symposium at the Transforming Care Conference in Sheffield with the title ‘Transforming long-term care through Evidence-Informed Innovation: learning from three European Centres of Excellence’. The session brought together the experiences of three European Centres focused on the dissemination and implementation of good practice in long-term and social care across Europe: NKa the Swedish national centre of excellence in the field of informal care, Vilans, the National centre for expertise for long-term care in the Netherlands and IMPACT, the UK centre for evidence implementation.

This week we have published a paper, the product of the reflections and learnings that were shared from these three pioneering adult social care centres of excellence in the Netherlands, Sweden, and the UK during the symposium:
