Last week, we celebrated Clenton Farquharson‘s honorary doctorate at the University of Birmingham’s College of Social Sciences graduation ceremony.
Speaking about the doctorate, Clenton said he felt humbled and proud because of the recognition from his hometown as well as for the opportunity to give his passion for equity and solving inequalities a spotlight, and amplify the voices of some of the most marginalised – “that’s what I’m hoping it will do, just being able to speak to power.”
