Northern Ireland

We work across Northern Ireland to support evidence-informed change in adult social care, focusing on five key themes. Through our projects (Demonstrators, Facilitators and Networks), we bring together research, lived experience and practice to improve lives. Learn more about the impact of our projects below.

2025 – 2026

  • Better support for aging carers of adults with a learning disability – DOH/Strategic planning and performance group
  • Implementing a Self Directed Support Evidenced Based Outcomes Tool in Northern Ireland – Southern Health and Social Care Trust
  • Improving staff awareness of experiences of people with acquired brain injury and their families through coproduced training – Brain Injury Matters

2024 – 2025

  • Managed budgets – ARC NI and SPPG
  • Transitions from children to adults – Pembrokeshire Council, Wales, and NI Mencap and Centre for Independent Living
